RYE AND FETA BREAD
This bread recipe contains one of my favourite grains, rye. Why rye? Rye is in my opinion a super food, it is packed full of nutrients and high in that all important fiber to keep our guts happy as heart and cholesterol.
INGREDIENTS

125g Rye Flour

50g Whole Wheat Flour
-
1 free range/organic egg
-
2 table spoons of milk
-
1/2 grated sweet potatoe
-
1/2 block of feta chopped into cubes
-
sea salt
-
black pepper
-
1 tsp of thyme or dried herbs of your choice

1 tsp of baking powder

METHOD

Preheat the oven to a medium heat.

Sieve the flour and baking powder into a bowl.

Grate the potato into the flour.
-
Add to the mix the salt, pepper dried herbs, milk and a beaten egg.

Mix lightly with a knife until combined.
-
Lightly bring into a round and place on a baking tray.
-
Top with a few cubes of feta and bake for 45 mins.

Serve topped with avocado or dunk into a hearty soup.
